Mark Carson

Program Field Representative
Mark started with Oklahoma DHS/Child Welfare Services in August of 1996 as a Permanency Planning worker. In over 20 years with the agency, he has served as worker and supervisor in several areas, including Permanency Planning and Foster Care. He has also worked for several years in the Child Welfare Training and Permanency Planning Units. He has a Master’s degree in Social Work and is an adjunct professor of Social Work at Northeastern State University. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Gina and their two children, Asher and Lily. In his limited spare time, he loves to play guitar and sing in front of any audience willing to listen.
