Additional Support for Eligible Youth

A new law provides temporary funding and services to help young adults who experienced foster care at age 14 or older and are currently under the age of 27.

Who is eligible to receive support?

Young people between the ages of 18 and 26 who experienced out of home placement in the custody of OKDHS at age 14 or older. Eligibility for individual services may vary.

This increase in funding is temporary and will only by available until September 30th, 2021.

Expanded Services Include:

  • OKSA Funding to assist with needs like technology, supplies, and other expenses.
  • Housing assistance to help you get in to or keep your home.
  • Support for transportation needs.
  • Voluntary foster care so you do not have to age out during the crisis.
  • Re-entry into foster care if you aged out on or after January 27th, 2020.
  • Education Training Voucher has been temporarily increased.
